In ten years with just over 100 deviations, I've gone from fanart to geometry, then from drawing girls to coloring girls. I've hopped between traditional and digital media, from before Eclipse to after it. After all that, only five artworks have obtained more than ten faves. Only one artwork has obtained more than ten comments: my Rathalos drawing from 2011. I consider my art to be good and original, and few have stated otherwise. I've shared some art with my friends on other social media, where it has gotten decent attention but not as much as I'd like. I suspect that they only care about AAA art like movies made by professionals. I have plenty of coloring pages to work on - which I will eventually complete - but I don't expect them to receive much attention. I guess I have to accept that my interests and attempts at originality are not welcome on the internet.
